RESUMO
Trata-se de um estudo sobre a influência do suporte social dos adolescentes na adopção de comportamentos aditivos.
Um total de 370 alunos, com uma média de 17,71 anos de idade, a frequentar o 12º Ano de Escolaridade, no ano lectivo de 2004/2005, em duas Escolas Secundárias da rede do Ministério da Educação, foi inquirida através de um Questionário, respondendo um total de 262 alunos (45%) do sexo masculino e 55% do sexo feminino. Estes residem maioritariamente no concelho de Portalegre (63%), estando matriculados pela 1ª vez no 12º Ano, um total de 85,5%.
Foram utilizados os seguintes instrumentos de colheita de dados: ESPAD – European School Survey on Alcohol and other Drugs (Hibell, B. et al., 1997), adaptada da escala original e a ESSS – Escala de Satisfação com o Suporte Social (Ribeiro, 1999).

Ce travail étude l’influence de l’appui social sur les adolescents qui ont adopté des comportements additifs.
Un total de 370 élèves, avec un âge moyen de 17,71 années, fréquentant le 12ème année du lycée, dans l’année scolaire 2004/2005, dans deux Écoles Secondaires du Ministère de l’Éducation, a répondu à un questionnaire; un total de 262 élèves, 45% du genre masculin e 55% du genre féminin ont répondu. Ces élèves habitent majoritairement dans la commune de
Portalegre (63%) et un total de 85,5% fréquente le 12ème année pour la première fois.
La récolte de données a été faite dans les instruments suivants : ESPAD – European School Survey on Alcohol and other Drugs (Hibell, B. et. al., 1997), adapté de l’échelle originelle et de la ESSS – Échelle de Satisfaction avec l’Appui Social (Ribeiro, 1999).

ABSTRACT
It is a study about the influence of adolescent’s social support in adoption of addicted behaviors.
A total of 370 students, with an average age of 17,71 years old, registered in the 12th year of education, during the 2004/2005 school year, in two secondary schools that belong to the network of the Ministery of Education was questioned by a questionnaire, and 262 student’s answered, being 45% (n=118) boys and 55% (n=144) girls. The group live majority in the district of Portalegre (63%), being registered for the first time in the 12th year of education, a total of 85,5% of the study group.
Were introduced the followed measures: ESPAD – European School Survey on Alcohol and other Drugs adapted from the original scale (Hibell, B. et al., 1997) and the ESSS – Satisfaction Scale with the Social Support (Ribeiro, 1999).
